From time to time, Food Allergy Aware (FAA) may contact you with information about events, training opportunities and networking activities organised independently or in collaboration with partner organisations, where permitted by applicable data protection and direct marketing legislation.

Such communications will ordinarily be issued directly by FAA. Where events are jointly organised, relevant personal information may be shared with named event partners where necessary for event administration, communication or agreed follow-up activities. Personal contact details will not be disclosed to sponsors, exhibitors or other third parties for their independent marketing purposes without an appropriate lawful basis, and consent will be obtained where required. All personal information will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection legislation.

Events, Networking and Sharing of Attendee Information

Food Allergy Aware (FAA) organises and delivers training courses, conferences, seminars, workshops and networking events, including on behalf of Hospitality Networking Exchange – Hampshire (HNE-H), both independently and in collaboration with partner organisations.

Event Registration and Attendee Lists

When registering for or attending an event, we may collect your name, organisation, job title or role, email address and telephone number for the purposes of managing bookings, communicating event information and administering attendance.

To facilitate professional networking, we may share an attendee list containing names, organisations and job titles or roles with other registered attendees, event sponsors and relevant event partners. Personal contact details, including email addresses and telephone numbers, will not be included in these lists. Attendees will be informed of this arrangement during registration and, where appropriate, given the opportunity to opt out of inclusion in the shared attendee list.

Feedback Forms and Requests for Further Information

Following an event, attendees may be invited to complete a feedback form, including the option to request further information from speakers, sponsors, exhibitors or participating organisations.

Where you expressly request further information or agree to be contacted by a named organisation, FAA may share your relevant contact details with that organisation solely for the purpose specified. By selecting the appropriate option on the feedback form, you consent to this sharing and the requested contact.

Your details will not be shared for unrelated marketing purposes without an appropriate lawful basis.

Collaborative and Jointly Organised Events

Where events are organised in partnership with other organisations, such as South Hampshire College Group for the Hospitality Networking Exchange – Hampshire, relevant attendee information may be shared with the named event partner where necessary for event administration, communication or agreed follow-up activities.

Where a collaborating organisation wishes to contact attendees about future events, training or related opportunities, we will explain this at registration or when collecting feedback and obtain any consent required for direct marketing.

Third-Party Suppliers and Confidentiality

FAA will not sell or provide attendee contact details to sponsors, exhibitors or other third-party organisations for their independent marketing purposes without an appropriate lawful basis. Where external service providers are engaged to support event administration, personal information will only be processed as necessary and subject to appropriate data protection safeguards.
