Allergen Management for Hospitality made Easy! - Online

We have developed this 4 hour workshop to help your management teams develop and strengthen their allergy knowledge and procedures. 

We will take you step by step through the areas which are beneficial for a safe customer journey from booking to departure and online feedback. We look at communication, and managing customer issues including near misses.

Allergen Management for Senior Leadership Teams

We have developed a bespoke workshop up to 3 hours for your senior leadership team  to ensure allergen management is a high focus.

We tailor the workshop to include examples which may have occurred inhouse and actual case studies, including a recording of a witness impact statement, their experience, and how it has impacted their life, years after the event.

We will also cover communication and near miss reporting, and how gateways and positive no blame reporting should be encouraged to keep the customer and business safe.  

The session is built with interactive exercises to encourage discussion and the sharing of experiences and best practice among the attendees.

Food Allergy Awareness Workshop
Online & F2F

This workshop is for all your staff within a food service operation and will be tailoured to your business and sector as appropriate. The duration of the workshop is up to 3.5 hours for up to 24 attendees.  The training will give your staff a high level introduction to allergen awareness as per your business procedures. 

The course covers the basics for your staff to ensure they give your customer a positive customer journey and respond as appropriate to your in-house procedures

Allergen Management in Schools Workshop - Online & F2F

This course is aimed at all levels of staff within an education setting, including admin and governors involved with the creation of policies and HACCP.  The course is of a Level 1 induction standard.  It would be beneficial to have catering staff on the training,  however they also need to attend level 2 or level 3 training dependent on their role.

The course covers the basics for your staff to ensure they keep children and staff safe with food hypersensitivities, and elevate  the fears of their carers, creating an inclusive environment

Highfield HABC Food Allergen Management Training Level 2 & 3

We offer a Full day Level 3 accredited course for staff involved in a supervisory or management role in catering, providing a solid overview of the impact of food allergens, how to identify and control risks and how to implement practical allergen management techniques including communicating with confidence.

We also run a shorter Level 2 Food Allergen Awareness course which is suited to food handlers and other staff involved in the preparation of food to gather the appropriate knowledge and understanding.

Special Education requirements

Please let us know upon booking if delegates registered require special requirements to take the exam; this could be because English is not their first language, or they have other learning difficulties such as dyslexia. 

In this case we can ask for special circumstances; this may involve having a reader provided alongside a 2nd invigilator or the exam is taken after the other attendees have taken their exam.  

This may incur additional costs and the organisation that has arranged the training may need to provide the reader.

Please note: it is more cost efficient for those wanting the training to notify us at the time of booking about any special requirements needed, rather than incur the cost of a resit – costs available on request.
