Who we are?

Food Allergy Aware is an Award Winning Business  Supporting the roll out and adoption of allergen legislation as well as promoting best practice.

Food Allergy Aware can assist in the implementation of policies and procedures which result in allergy affected diners being offered a safe and positive dining experience and in return, offering you increased revenue and customer loyalty.

We are also able to provide training internationally  in January 2020 we provided  HABC level 3 allergen management training  to the Dubai Municipality Inspectors and Health & Safety Managers for local hotels and trainers based in Dubai. 

We was also asked to review and make recommendations for their updated allergen sections in their Food Code 2020. 

In addition we also specialize in the travel industry including cruise liners assisting with compliance in allergy regulations as appropriate to the vessel’s countries visited.

Food Allergy Aware is working with Jacqui McPeake – Jacs  Allergen Management in collaboration as Hospitality Allergen Support UK  –

Together Caroline & Jacqui are working on a Near Miss Reporting Campaign to encourage best practice in Allergen Management across ALL sectors of the Hospitality industry.

Are you aware that the Coroner highlighted at the inquest of Natasha Ednan-Laperouse that at least six families notified Pret-a-Manger of the  Sesame flour issue and labelling of the baguettes? Prior to Natasha’s death Pret did not have a system in place to capture this reporting.  Had this been in place,  they may have identified the issue potentially preventing Natasha’s tragic death.  Today Pret have a system in place to record all incidents This was an important lesson learnt and should be carried out across the hospitality industry.
