Following the widely reported court cases of Davy’s Wine bar in Westminster and 6oz Burgers in Portsmouth, where food safety inspectors had placed bans on serving raw burgers, the issue of serving raw burgers continues to be a ‘risky’ practice according to the FSA despite its popularity among customers.

BurgerDavy’s Wine Bar however were successful in overturning the ban because they were able to prove the quality of their food safety systems in place.
