Who should attend the Allergen Awareness Workshop?
Ideal For: Staff handling and preparing, serving, or managing food or managing customer orders across all sectors of food business operations
What’s Covered in the Food Allergen Awareness Training
This workshop is designed for anyone involved in food preparation, service, or management in catering. You’ll gain essential knowledge and skills including:
- Recognising common food allergens, and those outside the Top #14, as well as an understanding allergic reactions, symptoms, and consequences
- Controlling cross-contamination and identifying hazard points from delivery through to service
- Accessing, and effectively communicating allergen information accurately both verbally and in writing

Assessment
There will be a short quiz and attendees will receive a letter of attendance
