A MOTHER’S TALE: STARTING OUR BAKING MIX JOURNEY
The idea started in an everyday home kitchen, tasked with making allergy-friendly cakes, biscuits, and other baked goods without compromising on flavour and texture. Also, ensuring that others who did not have allergies or dietary requirements would still want to eat the same baked goods. After years of getting the perfect allergy-friendly bake, the final family recipe was challenged when asked to be made into… a take away bag. It was to be baked away from the home – a student kitchen in University accommodation!
Her daughter, with food allergies, was heading to University. This presented an opportunity for Mrs O to not only create a baking gift as a reminder of home, but consider creating a product range to allow others to give themselves and their loved ones the same type of gift. The gift of allowing an allergy-sufferer to enjoy baked treats with others. Whilst empowering them to learn how to bake in a dietary-inclusive way.
Many years have passed since but Mrs O has turned the original gift into a commercial baking mix. This was so her daughter, friends, other home bakers and even businesses could provide these flavourful, texture-heaven, allergy-friendly baked goods for their own loved ones and clients. Today, they do just that – mixes that create baked goods which are dietary-inclusive, organic, and allow everyone to eat the same slice… or scramble for the last crumb.

We got the ratios just right. It could be difficult to tell the difference between the baked goods made from our mixes and those with egg, gluten, or dairy! Our baking mixes are truly fuss-free and Mrs O has made immense effort to manufacture and package the mixes to minimise threats of cross-contamination of nuts. Mrs O’s Fuss Free Mixes are:

Egg allergy? Our baking mixes do not include egg or ask you to add eggs to our recipe, or even require chemical-based egg replacer!
Dairy Free
Have a dairy intolerance? Our baking mixes do not include dairy, or rely on dairy-based ingredients to get a decadent, moreish textured result.
Nut Free
We take allergies very seriously, that is why we have our mixes manufactured in a nut-free environment to minimise cross-contamination.
Gluten Free
We have some mixes that are additionally Gluten-Free, ideal for Coeliacs or other gluten-intolerant circumstances.
Organic
Our mixes are made from a selection of the finest organic ingredients, sourced worldwide.
Suitable for Vegans and Vegetarians
Our mixes are approved by the Vegetarian Society as a product suitable for consumption for Vegans and Vegetarians.
